Blue buds metamorphoses beautifully becoming transient flowers. This is the first one in a series of three abstract drawings showing different stages of the unfolding process. The life force and vitality these small flowers show intrigues me and inspired a whole new series of smaller drawings. Soft pastels on sanded and coloured card.
