Soft pastels on 300 g cotton paper. A warm and pink sky reflected in the water below. A moody landscape with plenty of atmosphere. I’m moulding the landscape, sculpting it with my fingers and leaving enough pigments behind to build hills and valleys as I move over the paper. I’m bulding the shadows with many colours, layering them, one on top of the other to make the darkness richer.
