Places of Fagrance; The smell of the salty air carried from the sea by the wind, the newly cut green grass, the clematis flowers bathing in the sun or the dusty hay that dries in the warm summer afternoon. It’s all examples of smells that carries memories of places and moments that stays with you, and the smell will easily take you back. This motive has been dissolved and translated into colour to express the experience of fragrance rather that the recognizable place. This artwork is made with Unison Colour soft pastels on 300 g Arches cold pressed paper and has a fine layer of Sennelier fixative as finishing a coat. It has a delicate surface and needs the protection of glass. It ships flat in a box.
