The coast offers great views and is a never ending source of inspiration. I like to reimagine a specific place or a recogniseable landscape and to translate it into a lyrical landscape. Abastraction allows me to incorporate the whole experience from the emotions brought about by the scent of wam earth at sunlit hills to the sounds of running water and the whispers of the wind. The landscape is dissolved and translated it into a colour mood. This artwork is made with soft pastels on Sennelier sanded card and has a fine layer of fixative as a finishing coat. It has a delicate surface and needs the protection of glass. It ships flat in a box.
