Open Studios Stavanger // September 20–21 2025
This weekend, B-open once again transforms Bergen into an open gallery, inviting the public to explore the studios of more than 130 professional artists. Visitors are welcomed into working spaces normally closed to the public, offering a unique opportunity to meet artists, see works in progress, and experience the creative process up close.
Launched in 2023 by artists from Tou Atelierhus and ELEFANT in Stavanger, alongside Stasjon K in Sandnes, OSS has quickly become an important arena for artistic exchange and public engagement. This year’s edition focuses on the vibrant studio communities across Stavanger, opening their doors to foster stronger connections between artists and audiences.
For visitors, OSS is a chance to see how ideas evolve from sketches and experiments to finished works. Each studio has its own distinctive atmosphere, reflecting the diverse practices and perspectives that make up Stavanger’s contemporary art scene.
