I always return to the sea to find tranquility and rest, inspiration and joy. The sea can be a fabulous friend or a wild and unruly enemy. “Beyond the Sea” is Ultra Marine translated from latin, it is the bluest of the blues and I love the spark, the depth and the mood it sets. I love to use it in my artwork. This artwork is made with handmade soft pastels on cotton paper and has a fine layer of fixative as finishing a coat. It has a delicate surface and needs the protection of glass. It ships flat in a box.
