Afterimage is about my personal memories and my experience with a major physical surgery as a child. As a result of my physical condition I was born with, I have had major surgeries five to seven times since age eight. While recovering from surgery, I saw some geometric images in my subconscious, and this image is still so vividly ingrained in me. The goal was to create a physical bridge between those images and my memory by projecting them on paper. * Colour pencil, gouache on high quality italian paper. * One of the series was exhibited at Kosk, Oslo, 2022. * A frame could come together if desired, with an extra cost.
